Gray Court Apartments – West End Historic District – Downtown Winston-Salem, NC

Constructed in 1928, Gray Court Apartments holds a special place in the history of Downtown Winston-Salem, NC. Over the years many office and hospitality workers, students, writers, artists and musicians have called these apartments home. Gray Court Apartments, restored and improved with careful attention to detail, retains its historic character and charm that have attracted so many. The apartments contain vintage architectural details such as tall ceilings, hardwood floors, beautiful woodwork, arched doorways and original glass front cabinetry.

Gray Court is ideally located in the beautiful West End Historic District at the corner of 5th and Broad Streets. This dynamic site is just 3 blocks from the BB&T Ballpark Stadium which is home to the Winston-Salem Dash and in an area of newly developed residences and shops. Other attractions include Avenue of the Arts, Trade Street Arts District, Forsyth County Public Library, numerous parks, places of worship, and the central downtown business district which contains galleries, restaurants, nightlife and live music venues. Wake Forest University, Wake Forest Innovation Quarter, Salem College, Winston-Salem State University, UNC School of the Arts, and Bowman Gray School of Medicine are also located nearby.
